Volente Fire Station

Trimbuilt Construction proudly completed the new 9,505-square-foot Volente Fire Station, a modern facility designed to support emergency response operations and serve the community for years to come. The station features four apparatus bays, updated firefighter living quarters with five dorm rooms, a full kitchen, laundry, tool, shower, and turnout rooms, and a comprehensive fire sprinkler system supported by a 30,000-gallon water tank. The project also included an approximately 15,000-square-foot detention pond.

Throughout construction, the fire department remained fully operational in the existing station, requiring detailed planning and coordination. Now complete, the former facility will be repurposed as a community center and for secondary fire department operations.

The project concluded with an Open House and Completion Ceremony, welcoming community members to tour the new fire station. FOX 7 Austin covered the event and the project’s success, quoting Fire Chief Zimmerman: “There were many, many opportunities for this to go sideways and this is one of the smoothest construction projects I’ve been associated with.” ESD14 Board President Lonnie Moore also spoke during the ceremony, reflecting on the construction process and expressing appreciation for Trimbuilt Construction.

We are grateful to the Volente Fire Department, ESD14, and the Volente community for trusting Trimbuilt Construction throughout this project. It was an honor to work with such dedicated clients.
