We remodeled the interior of the existing police station and added multiple pre-engineered metal structures throughout the campus. One was a 4,233-square-foot addition to the main building, which became the new Open Records office. We extended the outdoor shooting range and erected a 10,000-square-foot metal cover, so it could be used in any weather. Lastly, a 4,471-square-foot warehouse was built, with four coiling doors, to store SWAT equipment. Despite procurement issues and labor shortages during COVID, we were able to keep this project on schedule. The main building remained fully operational, and the 911 call center ran 24/7.
