Pre-Construction

Trimbuilt believes that effective pre-construction services extend far beyond mere planning. Before work begins on any project, our pre-construction division meets with the key stakeholders to discuss goals, expectations, scheduling, and budgets. We use these factors to establish exactly how to measure success for the construction of your space.

Throughout the duration of the project, our team continuously monitors these key performance indicators and refers back to our pre-construction plans in our communications. This transparency encourages project flexibility to ensure all aspects of the project are identified before construction begins.

Project Management

Trimbuilt has a widespread reputation for sound planning, and a time-proven process for project management that successfully guides our clients from project evaluation to closeout. As the premier company in Austin for interior remodeling, companies choose us to build their corporate headquarters because of our history of efficient and quality work.

We take care of our clients from the moment the project begins to well after it’s complete. Our reliability and responsiveness instill confidence in our clients. Trimbuilt wants your inspiration to become a reality.

SAFETY

Trimbuilt is committed to maintaining a safe working environment on every project. Our comprehensive safety program follows OSHA standards and includes OSHA-30 certified Superintendents, regular Toolbox Talks, Job Safety Analyses, and ongoing employee training. Weekly jobsite inspections are also conducted by third-party safety consultants to evaluate compliance and identify potential hazards. All employees have stop-work authority, reinforcing shared responsibility for safety across our jobsites.

PERMITS/INSPECTIONS

With decades of construction experience throughout Central Texas, Trimbuilt has developed strong working relationships with local permitting departments, plan reviewers, and inspectors. Our team coordinates with municipalities throughout construction to navigate permitting requirements, schedule required inspections, and address issues as they arise. This experience helps streamline the approval process, minimize potential delays, and keep projects moving forward while maintaining compliance with applicable city, county, state, and regulatory requirements.

QUALITY CONTROL

Quality control is integrated into every phase of Trimbuilt’s construction process. Our project teams follow documented quality management procedures and regularly inspect work to verify compliance with project requirements, specifications, and company standards. Superintendents monitor jobsite conditions and coordinate closely with subcontractors to identify and resolve issues before they impact subsequent work. This proactive approach helps maintain consistency, minimize rework, and deliver a finished project that meets our clients’ expectations.

CLOSEOUTS

Trimbuilt begins preparing for project closeout throughout construction to provide an organized and efficient transition to the owner. Our team tracks and compiles required documentation, including as-built drawings, warranties, operating instructions, O&M manuals, project directories, and applicable governmental approvals. Before final delivery, closeout materials are reviewed for completeness and organized in accordance with contract requirements, providing owners with the resources needed to operate and maintain their completed facility.

Value Engineering

Trimbuilt approaches value engineering as a collaborative process focused on maximizing project value while maintaining quality, functionality, and design intent. Our team works with the owner, design team, and project partners to evaluate costs, identify potential savings, and recommend alternative materials, systems, or construction methods.

By evaluating options throughout preconstruction and construction, we help clients make informed decisions that support the project’s budget, schedule, and overall goals without compromising the finished product.

Green Building

Trimbuilt believes sustainable construction is an important part of the present and future of our industry. Whether a project pursues LEED certification, Austin Energy Green Building ratings, increased energy efficiency, a reduced environmental footprint, or greater use of natural light, our team looks for opportunities to incorporate environmentally responsible solutions throughout the construction process.

By working closely with owners, design teams, and trade partners, we help identify practical strategies that support sustainability goals while considering budget, schedule, functionality, and long-term building performance. Our approach allows us to deliver responsible solutions without compromising the quality or vision of the finished project.

SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES

Green building encompasses every stage of a project, from site planning and building design to construction practices and the long-term experience of building occupants. Trimbuilt takes a practical, collaborative approach to sustainability, working with owners and project teams to identify strategies that support environmental goals while maintaining quality, functionality, and project value.

Our team has experience implementing environmentally responsible construction practices and supporting projects pursuing LEED and Austin Energy Green Building standards. These efforts may include:

  • Sourcing local and environmentally responsible materials
  • Reusing and repurposing existing materials when possible
  • Tracking, documenting, and reporting LEED requirement
  • Recycling our construction waste in accordance with the City of Austin’s Universal Recycling Ordinance
  • Coordinating sustainable building practices with owners, design teams, and trade partners
