Travis County Evidence Warehouse
Trimbuilt Construction completed the 20,000-square-foot Travis County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Services facility, providing a secure and specialized space for evidence processing, laboratory operations, and storage. The facility includes a 10,000-square-foot warehouse for valuables, along with dedicated lab and office spaces.
Built within the existing Travis County Correctional Complex, the project required careful scheduling and coordination to accommodate ongoing operations and integrate the Sheriff’s security systems and specialized equipment. The building features 50 unique insulated tilt-up concrete panels, each constructed on-site before being set into place.
The project also included comprehensive site development and was designed with sustainability in mind, with the facility on track to achieve LEED certification. The completed facility provides Travis County with a modern, secure environment to support its Forensic Services operations for years to come.
