Within an occupied, operational building, we completed a full interior demolition of the existing library.  Self-performing 16% of the contract, we built back study spaces, private meeting rooms, a lounge room and breakroom. In addition, we coordinated the installation of wood slat ceilings, a self-checkout system, and sound-proof study pods. New MEP components like ductwork, panelboards, high-end lighting fixtures, lighting controls and floor boxes, were installed to match the needs of the new design. After completion, the owner submitted the project to be highlighted in the American Libraries Association Design Showcase.
